There is no charge for the cost of vaccines given by a VFC provider to eligible children. Sometimes, though, there can be some other costs with a vaccination:
- Doctors in Nevada can charge up to $22.57 to administer each vaccine. If you cannot afford the fee per shot, the doctor must excuse the fee. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about paying this fee.
*It is important to remember that your child cannot be refused a vaccination because you are unable to pay the fee for administering the shot, as long as your child is VFC eligible.
- There may be a fee for the office visit.
- There may also be fees for non-vaccine services, like an eye exam or blood test.
